Lovely kids.

These children were happy to have their photo's
taken after we had allowed them to take a few of us. They loved the colour of my hair and my daughter's. We were the only two Europeans in a crowd of about 200...... it was a pleasure and fun to communicate..... in sign language!

Homeless.

In Mumbai there are so many people (24 million to be exact) so space and homes are hard to find or too expensive so this family made there own on the side of a main cross roads. I could not help but notice it with the bright colour they used for shade. I suppose one has to do what one has to do. Just glad it is not me and it makes me count my blessings all the time. 

Shoes Galore

                                Mumbai....Where ever you go there are shoes hanging up for sale.

                                                                       

                                    Some of these were so pretty but the leather was hard. 

Playing in the streets...

 While in my taxi I spotted these two kids playing on the "Tuc Tuc" which was right on the street and on the side of a main road... They did not worry about the traffic and seemed happy and content.

Joy...

This lady danced with such joy, happiness and abandonment. Wish we could all be like that and not worry what others may think.
